From now on, always start Nova from the icon, not from Safari. The app has its own sign-in, separate from Safari, so you sign in once more there.
Tap Inloggen met Google (sign in with Google) and choose your work account (Google Workspace).
That's how you get your briefing and reminders, even when Nova is closed. In Nova tap ⚙️ › Aanzetten (switch on) and then Allow. Then tap Test: a test notification arrives within seconds.
Important on iPhone: notifications only work once Nova is on your home screen and you open it from there. You need iOS 16.4 or later.
The same Nova, as a real app. The difference: during a call Nova keeps hearing you with your screen locked or another app open, with earbuds and in the car too. A web app can't: Chrome silences the microphone after a few seconds.

Open Nova and tap Sign in with Google. Your browser opens briefly; choose your account and tap Open the Nova app if asked.

Check: Nova is on your home screen and you open it from that icon (not from Safari), your iPhone runs iOS 16.4 or later (Settings › General › About), and notifications are on under Settings › Notifications › Nova. Nova isn't listed there? Switch notifications on in Nova itself first (⚙️ › Aanzetten).
Is a Focus on (Do Not Disturb, Sleep, Work)? Then your iPhone holds the notification back silently. Add Nova to that Focus's allowed apps. The Test button in Nova's settings shows right away whether it works.
Did you ever remove the icon and add it again? Then switch notifications on in Nova once more: every icon has its own permission.
Open Nova from its icon, tap ⚙️ and look under Meldingen (notifications): if it says blocked, tap the padlock next to the address (or long-press the Nova icon › App info) › Notifications › on. Notifications arrive late? Set battery optimisation for Chrome (or the Nova app) to Unrestricted under Settings › Apps. Use Test to check right away.
Yes: your briefing, reminders and important emails arrive as notifications, even when Nova is closed or your phone is locked. Nova runs on our server, not on your phone. What does stop in the background is calling: iPhone and Android mute a web app's microphone as soon as you switch apps or turn off the screen. During a call Nova therefore keeps your screen on; come back and the call simply continues.
Did Nova hang up after a silence while the app is still open? Just say "Hey Nova" or "Bel Nova": you'll hear a chime right away and she calls you back. That works for up to 10 minutes after hanging up. Your phone measures the volume itself; only when someone speaks does that snippet go to speech recognition.
If Nova is set up as Internal in your Google Workspace (see above), you normally won't see this message. Still getting it while your Nova is being set up? Tap Advanced and then Continue (or "Go to …"). You'll then see exactly which access Nova asks for, and you can always revoke it in your Google account.
Nova needs permission to use your microphone. Tap Allow when Nova asks. Declined earlier? On iPhone go to Settings › Safari › Microphone; on Android, in Chrome tap the icon next to the address › Permissions › Microphone.
On iPhone you need to be in Safari, not inside the Gmail or WhatsApp app or another browser. Came in through a link in another app? Tap the compass or Safari icon first to open the page in Safari.
